The History of Leonard Truck & Trailer, Inc.

We are committed to being your one-stop trailer source. With the largest selection of trailers in the nation, our on-the-spot financing, custom vinyl department, in-house warranty department and comprehensive parts and service department, it’s apparent why we have proven ourselves to be the only place you need to shop for all of your trailer needs.
Leonard Truck & Trailer, Inc., began in 1963 in North Jackson with modest backyard beginnings when Stan and Peg Leonard began dealing with horses and a few horse trailer manufacturers. The company experienced moderate growth over the next twenty-three years, with the addition of trailer manufacturers and inventory. In 1986, Stan and Peg's son, Clint, joined Leonard Truck and Trailer as a sales representative.
During the next several years...
LT&T continued to grow with the addition of many new trailer manufacturers and by creating what would become the largest parts and aftermarket trailer sales department in the tri-state area.
Clint, now company President, expanded the product line to include living quarter trailers, car and cargo trailers, dump trailers, utility trailers, and more. The company quickly outgrew its location and needed to expand.
In February 1999, we moved to our current North Jackson facility off I-76 at Exit 57. Just an hour from Cleveland, Canton, and Pittsburgh, this 24,000 sq. ft. site includes an 11,000 sq. ft. service center, parts department, and four 100' drive-through bays — capable of repairing or customizing nearly any trailer.
Today, the LT&T MEGASTORE features even more trailer inventory, a full showroom, parts/service department, and custom vinyl graphics. We help customers find their perfect trailer and deliver outstanding service and customization.
