What size trees can the Virnig Tree Puller handle?

The jaws open 11 ½ inches, but the tree size you can remove depends on your skid steer, the type of tree, and ground conditions.

How do I pull out a metal fence post without bending it?

Position the jaws close to the ground with the fixed jaw against the post. Slowly close the left jaw onto the post and lift straight up. If it doesn't loosen, gently rock the skid steer back and forth to loosen it, then try lifting again.

How thick are the teeth on the jaw, and why aren’t they thicker?

The teeth are made from 1/2” Grade 80 laser-cut steel, which is 2.2 times stronger than A36 steel. Each tooth is gusseted for extra strength, making this design more effective than thicker, lower-grade steel.

Can I pull out small trees without cutting them?

Yes, the Virnig tree puller has a hard stop at the jaw tip, leaving a small space between the teeth to prevent shearing.
